Purpose

Flying away to unexplored heights
Following me is the deathly night
A chase between my demons and dreams
Inside my heart, a battle of screams.

Opening one door, only to be pushed back
Because my heart loves white, but my mind lives for black
These passages of my soul, so labyrinthine
Me, my purpose, is just stuck somewhere in between.

I am filled with webs of thoughts
Untangling them, but making more knots
Escaping from this endless maze
I want to bring down these clouds of haze.

Why does it feel like my hands are tied?
Or did I just try once and felt unsatisfied?
But now I am restless, restless to reach the sky
No demons can stop me, because now I’ll fly.

And now I’ll fly….
