My Answers To Shanyu’s Questions

Which is your favorite dessert?

This is a very difficult question! I have sweet tooth, I love almost ALL desserts. It depends on my mood as well. But chocolate ice cream, ras malai, ladoo & kalakand are my absolute favourites!

Your favorite shade of yellow?

Probably mustard.

A book you can just never put down?

If I like a book, I won’t put it down, until forced too😂 But mostly mystery novels.

A day on the most beautiful beach or a night under the aurora lights?

Oh this is difficult again! But, a night under the aurora lights.

Tea or Coffee?

Coffee!☕

Dark chocolate v/s Milk chocolate?

Milk chocolate.

Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings?

HARRY POTTER!!!!!!♥♥♥♥

Edgar Allen Poe or e.e.cummings?

I have not read much of their works, so I can’t honestly answer this question!

Your favorite author?

J.K Rowling (of course!) and Sir Arthur Conan Doyale

Your favorite poem?

Till now there are two- “A Slumber Did My Spirit Seal” by William Wordsworth and “Stopping By The Woods On A Snowy Evening” by Robert Frost.

An animal that describes the opposite of your major personality trait?

I think it should be cats.

My Answers To Aahana’s Question

What is your pet peeve?

People who are just downright very annoying.

What is your favorite genre of books?

Fantasy, mystery, mythology fiction, to name a few.

Do you watch Netflix? If yes, which is your favorite movie/series on Netflix?

I actually don’t usually. But I have watched a few series and my favourite is Sherlock.😃

Do you prefer street food or restaurants?

It totally depends on my mood. But due to the lockdown and the pandemic, I am craving for some spicy pani puri😋

Would you rather live on a beach such as Hawaii or in a city like New York? Why?

I would prefer to live where I am living currently!! I really like exploring new places, but when someone talks of permanently living, I can’t leave India. I am very attached to my country, and my home.

Which subject do you dislike or hate the most and why?

There is no subject that I downright hate actually. But to answer this question, I would go with geography. I couldn’t care less about which crop grows in what kind of soil, and what not!!!

Have you developed any new skill during the pandemic? Elaborate.

I have actually started to learn Spanish!

Why did you start blogging in the first place?

To connect with people and to learn from other fellow writers and poets.

Any obstacle which you overcame to continue your heartiest desires?

Does getting up early everyday count?? I don’t really know how to answer this question, but I would like to say that I have become more confident in the past few years which was a kind of an obstacle for me.

Which book is your favorite and why?

Of course there are many, but I would like to mention the Harry Potter series. Apart from the amazing, captivating and smashing storyline, and the magical world, Rowling has conveyed many philosophical meanings through her books. She has also included the concept of “dementors”, based on depression, which she herself faced. And I absolutely love how different people interpret the characters, their choices and actions differently. You learn so much!!

Which creature fascinates you the most? Why?

I know it is a mythical creature, but phoenix. I love the concept of a new phoenix rising from the ashes of its own dead body. So full of hope!

      1. I don’t think Kalakand is known all over the country. That’s why I said it is lesser know.
        Which part of the country do you live in, if you don’t mind revealing? Answer only if you are comfortable.

  3. Wonderful answers, Ishita! I too am a huge Harry Potter fan. On a scale of one to ten I’m easily at least a 9.5. I mean I participated in a Harry Potter Diplomathon and actually won first place. I’ve been to Harry Potter world in Florida and the making of Harry Potter in London. Hell, I even own a wand and other fan merchandise.

    1. Yayay!! So happy to hear that! I have been to Warner Bros Studios in London as well. Even I own a wand and other merchandise❤❤ But on a scale of 1 to 10 I like HP exactly at 9¾😉😉❤
